All of the names of countries

Our Little Home

Our world divided cannot stand

The world is, divided by so many differences and in so many ways, but how different are we the people of earth? This is our home and yet we value so much above the sanctity of our own survival as a species. Here are all the countries, divided as if we are all so special and so unique that we cannot live as one, striving together for the betterment of all humankind.

Every man woman and child should be free to be happy, to pursue our dreams, and to live safely without fear of enemies that would harm us for their own selfish gain. Martin Luther King Junior once said, "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

This is my dream, that one day this world will rise up and live out the true purpose of humankind in that we truly are, all equal. No one person is worth more than another is. No, one life is more precious than another is. I believe that one day; this world will become one and embrace each other with hope and dignity for all humanity.

When, we focus less on war, less on killing and less on a doomed economic system that has failed the people. Then and only then may we rise up as a nation of earth where all people are treated and respected, equally. A world where we all share in the same hope of living to our fullest potential, regardless of where we live on this planet.

I do not see these as the nations of the world by the states of the earth. A world where we strive together to, lift one another up, and work together to improve the lives of one another. A world, where all of our children have access to, an equal education and free access to, reach above persecution to benefit the earth the most. A world where the sick, are treated with equality, regardless of their wealth and social status. A world where, we learn that the value of our existence far outweighs all else and is of the utmost importance.

How many brilliant minds has the world sacrificed because of poverty? How many cures have we lost because a brilliant child was living in a country where he or she did not have the opportunity to go to school? What are we losing by focusing trillions of dollars into weapons of war? We are sacrificing our children. We are sacrificing the future of humanity and we are depriving ourselves of a better quality of life.

Yes our children are our future. Great article. Brilliantly written. Well said. I pray for peace all over the world. Maybe one day peace will come. Before it is to late.

      Sweet wishes Rhonda

Thank you Acaetnna...I appreciate your feedback. The world needs to learn what our most valuable commodity is, our children and their future. Not only on an individual basis but a global basis.

I certainly agree here W. K. Hayes, you talk a great deal of sense and have tremendous feelings on what should be done to improve our world.

Hi Katiem...The point of the article is that the world is full of children that have the capacity to do great things but are limited by their lack of educational access.

The article is also about people suffering while those of excess waste valuable resources. This world lacks balance and the sad truth is, many great inventions, cures and art have been lost because of the continuing allowance of poverty.

The world should focus our resources on ensuring that all children have access to an education where no child in the world is left behind.
