The Ultimate Plan-The Ultimate Sacifice

Updated on May 1, 2011

Growing in His Likeness

Rising above and beyond

Life itself is a schoolground. A learning process. A learning from our mistakes process. Learning what works and what doesn't.

We learn or we fail the grade. Just like in school. We learn and we graduate or we take the same course over again. Isn't life funny that way? If we don't learn we do it all over. Learning comes from focusing on what we want to acheive. The ultimate goal. The same goes with life. There is much to be learned and much happiness to be had if we really pursue it.

The ultimate goal is completeness in ones self. Happiness and fulfillment. So how do we acheive the ultimate? Letting go of our past mistakes and failures and move forward. Putting away old habits. Really learning from our mistakes.

We need to sacrifice our old self, our old ways to acheive the ultimate. Our actions and emotions can hinder or aid in our growth. Emotions like Hate, anger, bitterness, resentment, hopelessness, unforgiveness, jealousy, guilt, self pity and fear hinder our growth and destroy our happiness and fullfillment. There is no acheivement to be had in these emotions. These emotions make us feel trapped and will consume us and hinder our progress in meeting the ultimate goal that we are trying to acheive. We stay in a recovery mode when what we need to do is recover. Get over it. Move past it and be healed of it. Have a new understanding and perspective. If we remain in conflict with ourselves or others we do not grow, therefore we remain in torment and distruction of oneself and we will not obtain the ultimate goal.

The ultimate goal is happiness and contentment, unity, Love, trust, hope, peace and joy bring true happiness and fulfillment. You cannot be happy or content without them. We would die without these emotions. These are life sustainers. We would feel that there would be no hope or reason for living if these emotions did not exist. These emotions sustain life. We were given these emotions freely to enable us to grow and acheive.

This is the master plan for the universe. for all mankind. The ultimate sacrifice of casting off the old and becoming new, dieing to the oldself and being renewed and restored in our hearts and our minds. To be made whole. All these wonderful gifts were given freely from our Father in heaven. These are spiritual gifts.

Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice and God has the master plan. God sent his only Begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins, our worldly ways so that we could die to them as well. So that we could have eternal life and complete happiness and fullfillment! Jesus sacrificed his life so that we could obtain the ultimate!

No one has to be unhappy, lost or alone for we are not alone! We were put on this earth to acheive and prosper. To gain. To reach the ultimate goal! To rest in the Lord our God. To know that all things are possible with God. A peace that surpasses all understanding. A love that is unmeasureable, a joy that is uplifting, a hope that is reasuring and a faith that is eternal. Let us begin now in acheiving that ultimate goal, let us open our eyes and our hearts to what we have been given so freely, let us enjoy what life is offering us and let us be thankful!!! Let us be transformed into His likeness for this is God's ultimate plan....AMEN!!!

We need to be inline with God's will and purpose for us. It will be an ongoing struggle until we submit to his will. When things aren't going right that should be a sign that we are traveling down the wrong road. It's then that we need to step back and take a good look and pray for the right direction. Thank you peaceinhim and to you Tammy for your comments! Blessings!!!

Your hub speaks a lot of truth. Unless we give up our old ways and become new in Christ, we will always end up back at the same place, lost.

Great Hub! I remember Carol King singing a song back in the 70s with lyrics as this "Wherever you lead, I will follow, anywhere that you tell me to." This is the heart Christ is looking for, a heart of pure love and dedication. We search all of our lives, some of us to find peace and happiness, but real peace is only found through the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27. I am so thankful to be saved and have the peace that surpasses all understanding! Thank you for this most uplifting post!! In His Love!

      Great Post !

It truly makes a lot sense to really have peace and serenity within ourselves on this physical plane. The truth will definetely set you free from limitations and lack in the consciousness of man. Only as you are able tro free yourself will you be able to free others

You are so right. I once wrote a lyric, "You've been around, but the circle stops here". Truly, I kept living the same old thing over and over again, expecting different results ~ yet felt a deeper sense of hopelessness everytime I arrived at the same result as before. It was time to get off the circular train track. Jesus has a plan, and unless we follow wherever He leads, we'll never know what it is ~ I hope to step into the right direction every day with anticipation that there's only a good destination ahead of me because of Jesus! It may be an adventure, but it sure makes life worth living! Love you ~ Great hub!

Growing pains can hurt and sometimes they're meant to hurt. The ultimate goal is God's glory. He has a plan for us. We can say no to it but God's children will continue to be made into the image of Christ. We can become like clay in the hands of the potter or we can be stubborn and have to be broken by His hand but we will be worked with. I rejoice in your growth my sister because I love you. It can be a painful road to the point of us being clay, all mushy in His hand, but I pray that you and I can be as mushy as they come.
