Things I Wish The World Would Hurry Up And Invent

Updated on May 14, 2011

Instant Anything Vending Machines

Have you ever sat down at the end of the day and realized you forgot to pick something up from the store? Or maybe you already went to the store but realize that you forgot something...

Wouldn't it be nice if instead of having to go to the store, someone somewhere finally invented a vending machine that could instantly get you anything you asked it to?

Wireless Heating Blankets

Ever since I was a child, I've been in love with heating blankets. They are so cozy and nice on a cold evening, and even better when you don't feel good.

The only down side, is that most heating blankets need to be plugged in and they have weird metal parts and wires that run through them that can be rather uncomfortable. So I can't wait for someone to invent a wireless heating blanket that are completely comfortable, can self regulate before they get to hot and don't suck up a ton of batteries.

Anti-Pollen Car Paint

I can't tell you how many times I have seen a person go out and wash their car, just to wake up in the morning and find it completely covered in pollen. Or what about those tree blossoms or pine needles? They look beautiful when the trees produce them and don't look half bad on the ground. Though they tend to make a car look unkempt. It can be very frustrating for most car owners.

It's probably a long ways away, but I am hoping for a day in my lifetime when they will finally invent a car paint that is anti-pollen (and preferably anti-anything that sticks).

Thought-to-text translator

Have you ever found yourself at a time when you had the perfect idea, or you knew exactly what you wanted to write, but the moment you sat down to get it out, it didn't make any sense or you couldn't find the words to say it with? Yet every time you go to think about it without the pressure of having to "get it out", you had all those brilliant ideas again?

Wouldn't it be nice if they had a thought-to-text device that was similar to those speech-to-text gadgets? I think so.

That totally reminds me of the Glinda the good witch from the wizard of oz, lol. You should totally patent that! =)

I am waiting on a clear travel bubble to be invented whereby we can just "float" through the sky to other places...even if it crashed we would just bounce back up and keep going. Hmmm...I should patent that Voted you up and will follow you (mostly just need to check and make sure you didn't steal my idea)

I want to travel by transporter beam! You could pay someone a few dollars and be instantly where you want to be. Life would be good!
