Time Quickly Passes

Updated on May 1, 2010

Understanding More

Time travels so fast like thread spinning on a spool in a sew machine

You can hardly see it pass

You know what you have experienced so far

You could of did things different Maybe

You can not look back because you can not change the past

What is done is done

We move on with great passion

With dreams of working as rapid as the speed of light

Then everything I ever wanted could get done in one night

I could sit back and relax at last

Knowing all I ever wanted is finally done

I can rock back and forth in the old rocking chair in the corner

I can count the cob webs on the ceiling that I never did see before

Because I was always too busy

I can sip a sip of my favorite shake

Listen to the rain like thunder on the roof

I can make plans for my whole future

I can feel the satisfaction of all things that needed to be done

Completed over and over to perfection

I guess I would be happy

Knowing all I ever wanted is finished once and for all

Lets break the clock on the wall

For it causes way to much trouble

For every person in the world

Who tries to control time

We have to learn to live in the time we see before our eyes

Suddenly it will disappear

As if it never exsisted

Amber Allen Sometimes we are so envolved into what we are doing that we get mixed up to what is important or not. Some things feel we can not live without until that day comes and we have lived without. Thanks for setting priorities.

Some days, I say, "um, what have I don't, did I remember to eat. Thumbs up my dear friend, let's hurry, or we're be late.

biiyaustindillon It is funny how we use our time. When we get the busiest what choices we make to do the things we think are important. When all is said and done I wonder if we made the right decisions. You are absolutely right.Thank you for your insight.

Enjoyed your poem Dream on - Because I was always too busy - a very poignant line and unfortunately we never realize we never were too busy - just thought we were when it is too late!
