Blessings to all

Religion is a personal choice, of every race, creed, or society,

A product of the cultures, strong, and to each mind, is as free.

Be they Buddhist, Hindu, or Muslim, none is stronger in belief,

The Christian's choice reflects one voice, as their Christ is chief.

A benevolent God to be held supreme, by one and all, is true,

A fine creator of this Earth and all, and in that we say and do.

The shepherds watch over their sheep, as our God surely must,

Each holy one, in scriptures run, by the people, most surely trust.

Respect for all and in condemning none, must be the only way,

the creation from the sod and soils, in one voice, we all display.

A most holy divinity has given such gifts, prompting all to pray,

By grace and faith, each one to show, in every night and day.

To each his own, and so it is, and while around the world we go,

Such a treasure of each religious thought, every soul does show.

The precious acts and righteous words, helps all to gain, to grow,

The seeds we plant and crops we reap, no finer harvest to know.

I wrote this poem to express the love to be shared by people of all races and religious faiths. It was meant to be a positive statement of all human kind and to show the freedom that we all share in this world.

A prefect description of all the different religions, as well as tolerance for all.

Yes MsDora, we must serve as good examples for our children and all who we may have contact with. As a teacher for many years, I had the blessed ability to do this and my children have often told me how grateful they are. Thank you for your kind words. whonu

Good point! Our beliefs and convictions are demonstrated in the way we live our lives.
