Wealth and wealthy mindset

Introduction - Wealth and wealthy Mindset

"Wealth is the product of man's capacity to think."

Ayn Rand

Is there a mindset that is attributable to wealth? Well. the answer is yes. Wealth is a result of thinking in a certain way. But what does it mean to think in a certain way. Well there is a school of thought that the rich and the poor think in a certain way. The product of their thought is the reason for the difference they get in terms of their results, experience, and outcome. If a thought is rich in the first instance the result is outstanding.

The above quotation from Ayn rand is testament to this assertion. One of the great writers and philosopher on success principles, Wallace D Wattles had this to say about wealth:

"Wealth culture consists of making constructive use of people and things in your environment."

Culture connotes a way of doing things which stems from value, belief and identity of a set of people. From the forgoing the wealth culture has to make constructive use of things in your environment. To make constructive use suggest a state of increase, added value, growth and productivity. Hence wealth building is investing in asset not liability. It involves shifting for example, your money management habits from spending to investing.

Decision to become wealthy is the key to becoming wealthy

The idea of creating wealth begins with ones ability to think more creatively and productively towards taking control of your ideas and thoughts as well as being able to control your circumstance in your environment.

If you are interested in the story of people who have made great fortunes you 'll discover that there is one thing common to all of them they created something of VALUE - a service or product to meet the consumer needs. This activity has to compounds over time with the results of a consistent nature. Most of the time the story could go along this line:

  • Identify a small group of hungry people
  • Find something to satisfy their hunger
  • And stand in the middle collecting the cash

How can you make a difference or become more valuable?

The the following example from Anthony Robbins in his book Awaken the giant with you on how he become wealthy will give you some insight.

  • He developed mastery in special knowledge - Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) - skills and abilities that would consistently increase the quality of life for virtually anyone
  • The he figured out a way to share the information and the skill with large number of people in a short period of time
  • As a result he prospered not only emotionally but financially as well

If you want to develop a wealthy mind set; perhaps, the following ideas might be useful:

#1 Take responsibility for creating the wealth you desire and embrace an empowering mindset about ,money - freedom and empowerment.

#2 Set clear goals and make them as big as your dreams. Take advantage of the your ability to understand your motive, see the opportunity and sense your means to making your dream realiseable.

#3 Create a realistic plan and take action

#4 Learn to turn obstacles into opportunities These obstacles could come in form of considerations (thought); feelings (fear), or obstacle in you r immediate environment.

#5 Be willing to do what it takes and have persistence focus. Look for the things you are able tpo control and seek for external help if need be.

#6 Gain the financial knowledge, skills, and aptitudes on managing wealth - for example increase your knowledge of business finance and read financials statements. As Donald Trump suggested;

"Do not neglect your life skills, which should include a healthy dose a financial education"

#7 Find business coach and mentors and surround your with people who as are successful in being able to attract and grow wealth.

#8 Keep educating yourself and turn your weakness into wealth. Continue to develop dose of practical intelligence so as to enrich your experience.

#9 You need to understand the law of income. You'll be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver according to the market place. Four factors determine your value i n the market place - supply, demand, quality and quantity. The biggest challenge for creating wealth is to increase the quantity of your service. The quantity factor is simply how much of the value you deliver in the market place? You need to develop the habit of big picture thinking; Read the article here:

#10 Develop skills in selling and marketing as well as the ability to develop new products/services to meet the need of consumers.

... Rinse the process and continue to improve Identity and Self worth. After all the difference between the wealthy and the not so wealthy hinges on their Core Value.
