"Warrior Training" Homeschooling for free

Updated on November 27, 2013

"Warrior Training"

Homeschooling is a delicate matter and needs to be thought out thourly prior to starting. I personally think it is wonderful and I wouldn't change it for the world. Now don't get me wrong there are tough days where the child doesn't want to cooperate but then again I am sure some parents feel the same about their job from time to time. I am a wife of 8 years a mom of 6 amazing children 3 of which are boys. We split it even, the boys (girls protectors) first and then our little princess. Our oldest Prince is 13, then 12, 9, and our Princesses 7, 5 and our youngest is 2 1/2 years old. We call our schooling "Warrior Training", we found that if we mentioned school to some there was always dread but this way they see it as fun.

It can be pretty expensive to purchase curriculums so often. With careful attention to their needs we went to work searching the Internet for free homeschooling resources. We also used the public library for resources, borrowing books on science and having fun working together on the projects. You can also borrow school practice books from the library and always copy the worksheet on a copier and there you go, free, well almost free homeschooling.

Easy Peasy

This is a wonderful site. I has daily activities for your child to learn and enjoy along the way. This is now our first choice of the day. The link is below, you won't be disappointed!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

It should be fun otherwise it will be harder to get the child's interest. I am always on the lookout for ideas that will work for the variety of ages I teach. Science and art and music can run along the same pages for all of them, pretty much. So these days tend to go smoother sometimes than the ones where we split everyone up.

ABCya info

ABCya is full of games for fun learning. It's also really easy for young ones to use. They feel confidant that they can read and follow the directions and have a blast doing so. The link for ABCya is below, be sure to check it out for yourselves.

Homeschooling on the rise!

Homeschooling is the single fastest growing educational trend in the United States. Can you imagine? That trend is expanding worldwide. Dr. Brian Ray, one of the leading homeschool researchers, estimates that homeschooling has increased 15% per year over the past several years. This is amazing!!

In conclusion

Homeschooling links are all over the net and pretty easy to find but I have gone to the liberty and listed quite a few we actually use often. If you take a look you will see learning can be fun and free all in one! Using the internet has also made it so much easier. I hope you have enjoyed the info I have put together you will find it's helpful and free other than ink for your printer :) Have a blessed and wonderful day.
