We Recieve What We Believe And That's A Fact!

Updated on March 12, 2011

it begin's with believing

Believe and you will recieve
Believe and you will recieve

Where is your faith?

I would like to begin this hub with a verse from Deuteronomy 7:15. The Lord will keep you free from every disease. This is just one of God's promises.

So many people buy into generational curses, well my parents has it so I'm going to have it. Many are consumed by this belief. There is power in believing. I believe we can actually bring things upon us. Our thoughts and feelings control our bodies and our destiny's. They give way to feelings like anger, hate, fear, depression, anxiety, guilt etc;. We deside how long these emotions have power over us. We can stay locked inside however long we choose to remain there.

Picture this room with a sign on the door saying "How Long Will You Stay?" God says there is a time for everything. Some of us go beyond that time. We go overboard. We choose to cling or not to cling and for how long. Things don't have to have power over us unless we allow them to. God's will supercedes our will. His knowledge and ability is better than ours. God's will is for us to overcome and not be stricken by anything that binds or hinders us.

Some of us blame God when God is the one who will heal and restore. God has promised us that. If we conform to the ways of the world and give power to the things of the world the world and everything in it inturn has power over us, because we gave way to it. God gave us free will and it's up to us how we use it or how how far we go in our belief. We either live by it or die by it. There are powers in this world that can destroy us.

God's will and God's way needs to be our desire, our main focus, above everything. Believe and you will recieve. I believe we can cause disease and instill sickness through worry, fear, guilt, anger, mistrust, anxiety, grieving too long, overworking etc;. All these things cause stress. Stress is a killer. A BIG killer. It's a major cause of disease and death today.

We don't have to be consumed by stress. Things don't have to be so overwelming because God has promised us that he will supply ALL our needs. In Philippians 4:19 it says "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus". He didn't say some, but all, according to. Another promise. If we truly believe that all things are possible through God, things would not be so overwelming or consuming. If we truly look to him to fulfill our needs, he will supply them.

2 Timothy 1:17 it says "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline". We don't need to worry. It says so in Matthew 6:34. "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tommorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" and in Plilippians 4:6 it states Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God". And in Matthew 17:20 "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you".

When we carry bondage we are shutting the door on God. We are allowing our will to supercede his will. Our will in the sense of trying to control a situation or circumstance that we really have no control over. Making no room for God to have his say or his way.

God is promising you today, if you except him as your Lord and Savior he will move these mountains. He will bring you out of all bondage and restore you. There will be no more need to let these things control your life, your mind or your destiny. God will intervene in your life. We need to submit to God's will and not our will in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. His will be done. Our will in certain situations falters, but God's will never fails.

Will you give the power in your life over to God today and let God's power in? God is capable and qualified to do the job if you let him.

There are three scriptures I'd like to leave you with. One is Matthew 7:7 and 8 " Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you. "For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened".

The third scripture "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have recieved it, and it will be yours". Praise be to God!!! By his word and by the Grace of God we can be saved from it all!!!

There is Power in The Blood of the Lamb!!!

Bless you DeBorrah for your spirit! You have a great love for the Lord. You can't help but notice. That is awesome! I went to church today "Palm Sunday", the beginning of the Holy week. The message was on silent christians. We need not be silent when it comes to who we all are to God and who he is to us. God breathed the breath of life into me today, His Holy Spirit. I gave my life over to him completly today and he filled me overflowing!!! Palm Sunday" a day I will remember, a day for joy and a day to love! Bless you sister for your kind and thoughtful words!!!!

TimeshealsAll, Great, important message here! It is important that we know the Lord through His Word and develop an ongoing personal relationship with Him! "Will you give the power in your life over to God today and let God's power in? God is capable and qualified to do the job if you let him." This really makes you think about where is your FAITH! We have to learn to TRUST HIM and step out on FAITH!

The promises of the Lord are true! "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." Thank you for sharing, In His Love & Blessings!

"God is capable and qualified to do the job if you let him." This is the key thing, to turn over the reigns of our lives to God, who is more than able. Great Hub Dave!

BEAUTIFUL! This is what we stand on. We are promised so much, but the only way people would know is through THE WORD. When trials and tribulations come it is the pomises that help us to overcome. Thank you so much for this hub.

TimeHealsAll, a powerful thought provoking message.

"When we carry bondage we are shutting the door on God. We are allowing our will to supersede his will. Our will in the sense of trying to control a situation or circumstance that we really have no control over. Making no room for God to have his say or his way." AMEN! POWERFUL! TRUTH!

Believers walk by faith and not sight. What appears to our eyes is not how we interpret life. Neither do we lean to our own understanding. Blaming God, as you intimated, makes no real sense because we do not know what it is we are blaming God for, only "appearance."

Bottom Line Truth: "There is Power in The Blood of the Lamb!!! AMEN

      Great hub TimeHealsAll.

Bravo!! Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen! And without Faith it is impossible to please God. takes Faith to overcome our present circumstances, however troublesome they seem, or burdensome they've become. And Jesus did not mean for us to carry such a heavy burden, for He wanted us to put it all on Him, leave our troubles, sorrows and burdens at the foot of the cross, as He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, I am gentle and humble in heart, and You will find rest for your souls." Matt. 11:28-29 "For My Yoke is easy and My burden is Light." Matt. 11:30.

Jesus paid it all!! And He wants us to bring our burdens to Him and lay them before Him. He can give us peace, His peace in the midst of adversity. His peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen!

Great Hub!! God Bless, and thank you for this reminder! peace.

When they asked Jesus about the man crippled from his youth whether it was his sin that caused it or that of his parents. Jesus said that it was neither one's sin that caused it but the malady was for God's glory. Sicknesses are many in purpose. How many folks have been saved because their patient witnessed to them? How many saved because their roommate at the hospital witnessed to them? How many have been edified by those visiting them and laying hands on them? How many families are bolstered by those who have something incurable and face it with boldness in the Lord, their bravery an example, a testimony to God's neverending love? Yes, there are people who sin and dwell in sickness. There are those who reap what they sow, and get VD or some other consequence of bad or evil decisions. There are people that could be cured but do not ask the Spirit-filled brother or sisters to lay hands on them. Sissy, I feel you are growing in your writing. I have been edified so much by your teaching. Keep it up, okay? I love you so much.

Beautiful message, sis! We do tend to hang onto what's "familiar" (i.e. "familiar spirits"). While God says in His Word in Ex 20:5 & 34:7, and Deut 5:9, "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me," ~ when we turn from our past and renounce whatever curse the sins of our forefathers seek to bring against us, God restores!

Praise God, He is our Savior!!
