What is numerology

According to some dictionaries, numerology is knowledge that deals with the occult significance of numbers. But numerologists will tell you that this study is not an occult but a science. Astrology is not an occult but a science that deals with the stars and elements in relation to things significant to life.

Numerology is the symbolism of numbers and what they represent. Numbers can tell a person's character, their future, their strengths, talents and many other things. What scientists believe is that each member or element of the universe vibrates to a certain number.

This science has been around for over 10,000 years and have been used in Egypt and Babylonia. Numerology was the basis for the science we now know as Mathematics.

Many scientists and inventors must have used some sort of mathematical equations and formulas to develop their theories and products. Gravity cannot be seen but uses numerology (modern math) to equate it.

To say numerology is an occult would be to say math is also an occult since Math is the formal development of ancient numerology.

We use numbers in ever our every day lives and cannot ignore numbers. A new interest has grown about this science as more and more mathematicians and scientists are doing research into the subject.

What numbers represent

Numbers represent everything in this world. Even the bible uses numbers a lot. In revelation a lot of numbers were used to represent Seals. Numbers were uses to represent evil in the form of sixes. Numbers are used to represent days and months, even years. I think the most popular number in the bible might be seven.

Numerology uses numbers from one to nine. If you have more than nine items then the tenth would be 1(0 is a non number which has no value: 1+0=1), eleventh 2 and the twelfth would be 3. In numerology there is no ten.

Here are some things that numbers represent:

  • Months of the year
  • Days of the Week
  • The hours of the day
  • The weather
  • The letters of the alphabet (making it easy to number words)
  • Birthdays

Numbers of the Alphabet

Calculating your numbers

So long as you have the numbers that represent a certain thing or the letters of the alphabet then it is pretty easy to calculate.

Example: The numer for FISH would be:

F-I-S-H = 6+9+1+8 = 24

The number 24 is then broken down to become one digit

2-4 = 2+4 = 6

So the lucky numbers for FISH are 24 and 6

If youR numbers add up to three didits then you add each digit and round off to the lowest it can go.

Example: 528 = 5+2+8 = 17

1+7 = 8

Months of the year

Days of the week

Here are your Birth Numbers

Each person has a number that vibrates to the date they were born. These numbers are as follows

January 20 - February 18: 455; 932; 112; 181; 391; 644

February 19 - March 20: 744; 666; 810; 507; 531; 317; 216

March 21 - April 18: 002; 179; 051; 081; 551; 995; 791

April 19 - May 19: 781; 210; 731; 941; 517; 454; 542

May 20 - June 20: 900; 492; 611; 607; 339; 010; 843

June 21 - July 21: 893; 177; 782; 254; 100; 841; 805

July 22 - August 21: 478; 689; 232; 044; 324; 555; 316

August 22 - September 22: 756; 409; 210; 455; 806; 903; 568

September 23 - October 22: 459; 742; 600; 911; 725; 264; 170

October 23 - November 21: 359; 579; 563; 610; 908; 005; 167

November 22 - December 20: 395; 693; 239; 315; 397; 027; 246

December 21 - January 19: 989; 012; 191; 918; 410; 914; 367

Numerology is not hard to learn. Many people like to know their lucky numbers for whatever reason. You can calculate you birth numbers to the lowest digits. You can also tell which number vibrates towards a certain climate change.

Some people win at lottery or numbers with this method. Your dreams can also be calculated to determine your lucky numbers.

Interesting article about numerology. Like Moonlake the number 3 would be my number. Does that make it lucky or do I need to look further for the significance of the number three? Is there another article coming to go into what the numbers signify? Just wondering. Good reading.
