What if you did the opposite?

Updated on June 10, 2015

What If?

My daughter sent me this video, and I didn't open it for a few days, not understanding she had made it herself. When I opened it today I was so proud of her I almost teared up.

I understand from her sister she took first place honors with the production of it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It surely has a message I've tried to live by all my life, often failing to do just that. I think a lot of us don't like to do uncomfortable sounding things, but if we do, that's when change in our world may occur, for the better.

Michelle Does The Camino Walk

Challenging Ourselves

Sometime after my daughter produced this video she took a year long trek overseas and did the Camino Walk. It was a surprise to me that she undertook this pilgrimage. Michelle sent me Shirley MacLaine's book regarding the Camino walk experience. Since then she and I have read several books about the Camino pilgrimage, all very interesting reads. After reviewing her video today I can now understand better why she would take on the challenge that she did, walking all those many miles. The other day she asked her old mom, "mom, how about doing a small portion of the Camino with me?" At my age, I'd rather not do anything requiring physical duration, but oh, I love to watch her living her life.
