The cells in our bodies are grouped into units called tissues and organs that perform varied and specialized functons. The differentiation of a cell toward a speciic role is the beginning of its demise. Since they do not divide , a return to youth and cell division may only come about by a loss of the differentiated state called Dedifferentiation. The quandery of cellular life is that youth belongs to the generic cell. However, the specialized cell, which is probably more efficient, is slated to die. But, as always, this process is always going to be repeated through reproduction and some cells reproduce themselves in this process.
