Why Do We All Want To Go The Wrong Way

Updated on August 10, 2010

It Is Always Up To Us To Decide

Why do we make mistakes ?

Human nature ?

Is It we want to be daringly stupid ?

Is it we don't know any better ?

Lets think about that for a minute ?

We have learned enough to know right from wrong ?

Common sense would tell you that if we have learned the right way to do something that would be the choice to pick over the wrong way

Have we lost all our common sense ?

We are getting smarter and smarter as the days go on

We have made advances in every field

The technology we have today is phenomenonal

Why can't we just learn to do the right thing

Is it really that hard ?

We have heard countless times in our lives live in moderation

But every day we see how people have to go to extremes and tempt life and death

To push themselves beyond what is considered good for us

These are smart people who just forget to think ?

Maybe it is a disease that goes around from time to time

When you get it you get the symptoms of a cold

Then soon after your brain remains powerless and you can't think straight

No matter what people tell you

No matter what you have read in the past

No matter how much it is going to hurt or kill you

You brilliant mind is tricked to say this will be fun

You are the chosen one

To do the most stupid thing possible so other people can follow you

So they can be the King of all Stupid

We start out at an early age and begin

How many times have we heard   " don't touch that stove"

But as children we do it time and time again

But what is our excuse as adults ?

Is it we want to be kids again

A good example is don't drink and drive

No matter how many times we hear don't do it

Today, tomorrow and the next day

Surprise someone who use to be smart

Got the dumb disease

Yes , they tried it again

They messed up big time

So everyone else can see

Yes it was me

Embarressed for life

O.K. O.K. I know what your thinking

This is one isolated incident

This person is just having a bad day

I am singling them out from the rest

But wait there will be the next stupid mistake soon

If not by him or her by someone you might just know

Let us define stupid

Very slow of appreciation or mentally sluggish

There is more

Marked by or resulting from lack of understanding, reason, or wit;senseless;stupid acts

Now that we know better lets see if we can avoid being S E N S E L E S S

I will give everyone who reads this the benefit of the doubt

We are smart enough to read

Smart enough to learn from our mistakes

Lets stop being senseless

It is not that hard

I can understand making mistakes when we didn't  know better

That is just an error in judgement

Lesson learned

But over and over again till it is beaten in our head

I find that hard to believe

Thats why I beileve it is a disease

People can't help themselves

So please keep your eyes open for someone you might know

It could be you

Bitten by the bug

If you suddenly feel the urge to go 110 in a 35 mile hour zone don't do it

It is not a good idea

No matter what you think

If you feel like jumping off a bridge or run in front of a train

I am going to tell you don't do it

If you want to drink 10 more beers than normally

Don't do it

Remember this is only my opinion

Have a good day and please please don't be senseless today or any day
