Why planning is essential?

Updated on May 4, 2012

Planning is nothing but, “Thinking before doing”. Before executing a particular work you are going to think about it. Of course, in real life it will provide you direction. Focus towards your destiny. Give you answers for, “Where to go?” What to do? Etc”…

Suppose you are going for a picnic, just one day before your journey you will absolutely check, “What will be the routes available”. “In these routes which will be the best one for travel”, “If the route is bad what will be the alternative routes”. And ought to be you are going to refill your vehicle’s fuel tank as full.

Or you just think about you are going to a friend’s house. You will make a call to him. And will estimate your time drive and distance to cover. From these events you can notice that in your daily life you are planning something. But you never know you are thinking before executing it.

In day to day life we are obviously planning something, but a systematic approach will always will provide you an extensive easy way towards executing your plan. Some software’s will help you to do this planning successfully. Namely software’s like Primavera and Microsoft project. Again I am emphasizing that the software’s are not useful for the day to day life. They are suitable for industry.

But you can write down your plan in some piece of paper, and can calculate time for executing this particular activity. Try to execute in this in the planned way you will find astonishing success. It might not waste your time and money. Might be they are the most valuable things in our daily life.

      Voted up and useful!

It is indeed very true that we need to plan before execution even in our day to day work. You are very right in penning down this opinion.
