Why when it comes to Knowledge, Age is nothing but a number
Nothing but a # folks
In life, you never stop learning, unless of course if you choose to stop. Whether you are 2, 10, 18, or whatever age, we can all learn something from one another. Never consider your knowledge superior to another person based purely on age. Even a five year old can show you something new that you have never thought of in your life. People of different ages could give you insight on a topic that you never knew before.
For example, I like everything that has to do with music. A couple of weeks ago i went to church with one of my friends. My friend is in the band and plays for the church occasionally on sundays. After church was over everybody was greeting each other and saying goodbye. Anyways, One of the kids went to the band platform and began to play the piano. The kid was no bethoven, but he was pretty skilled with the piano for his age. As for me, i am a beginner with most instruments. That kid could have showed me things about the piano that i did not know, a lecture if you will.
Another example has to do with women. We all have friends that are womanizers. I have one in particular who is about 4 years younger than me. I am not to shabby with the ladies, but my friend takes it to another level. What i mean is that he could have just met a girl online, and by the same night seal the deal. Normally, you would think the older person (me) would have the advantage with women and not the younger, but that was not the case. From time to time, i ask him for a bit of advice.
All in all, when it comes to having knowledge age is nothing but a number. We can all learn from people with varying age gaps. Do not let a persons determine whether you can learn from them or not, if you do you might miss out on a wealth of knowledge. Everyone has something to teach you, but it is up to us to be willing to listen. It is up to us if we want to hinder our learning.
