You Can Cheat On Your Online Real Estate Exam But You Can't Cheat On The Florida Real Estate Exam

Updated on September 22, 2012

It is lonesome at the Florida real estate exam

Yesterday, I was teaching a Florida real estate exam review class ( many people call this the cram course ). This is a class that is not required. The only reason anyone takes it is to learn how to pass the Florida real estate exam. I had a young man in class that said to me,"You can cheat on your online real estate course test but you can't cheat on your Florida real estate exam. That is why I am here. I am here to learn to pass the Florida real estate exam.". I had never put that into one thought before but it is true.

When you take your Florida online real estate course from a Florida real estate school, who knows if you are using your notes or textbook to help you pass the test. There is no test monitor. I suppose a lot of people use notes and books while they are taking their Florida real estate online course test. Maybe that is a little bit less than one hundred per cent honest. I suppose it does occur.

When you get to the Florida real estate exam given by Pearson Vue at $31.50 per try, you won't have any notes or books to help. You are all alone. As my young student was pointing out, you have to know your stuff.

May I suggest that you study for your Florida real estate exam. It is painful and expensive to take the Florida real estate exam several times. It is not a mystery what is on the Florida real estate exam. I publish this information on my audio discs. The " Florida Real Estate Exam Manual " by Linda Crawford makes it abundantly clear what is on the Florida real estate exam.

You have to know about the Florida Real Estate Commission. You have to understand Florida statute 475 and other real estate laws. You have to know about deeds and mortgages and promisory notes and legal descriptions. You need to know how to convert square feet to acres. You need to know how to compute replacement cost of a building. You need to know how to compute Florida documentary stamps on deeds and mortgages. You need to know how to compute interest and how to amortize a mortgage. You need to know who Sherman Clayton is. All of the math that you need to know is on You Tube. Check out my videos at "Climer School "

There is a lot to know. You don't have to know it all. You only have to get a 75% to pass the Florida real estate exam. Our practice test at www.climerrealestateschool.com is a good way to know if you are ready for the Florida real estate exam. Practice tests are a great way to study. Making flash cards is also a good way to study. Don't buy flash cards. Make your own. Making them is half of the learning experience. Take one hundred three by five cards and write "four characteristics of value" on one side and " demand, utility, scarcity, and transferibility" on the other side of the card. You can play with these all day long. Put the questions on the front and the answers on the back. It is cheap and easy. Don't make studying hard. Make it easy. Make it fun.

Be aware that the Florida real estate exam has a fifty per cent pass rate. If you passed your online real estate course with a little help from your friends, books and notes, that won't work when you get to the Florida real estate exam.
