The chromosomal theory of inheritance are discussed. There are various types of chromosomes; autosomes and sex-chromosomes. chromosomal staining methods are explained. the chromosome has various structures like centromere, telomeres, satellite, arms and chromomere.
There is a huge list of genetic disorders. Some are due to autosomal changes, while others are linked to sex-chromosomes like Cat cry syndrome, Klinefelter's syndrome, down's syndrome, turner's syndrome.
