4 Habits That Can Make Your Dream Come True

Updated on December 2, 2017

Success and greatness is what all seek as individuals. But one may ask why do some of us fail to succeed? Well, in my opinion it is because of the fact that some of us work tirelessly to achieve success while others seem to slack in whatever they do and never want to try doing it once more if they fail at it. A famous blogger in Ghana once said, " It is hard and painful when you are failing but it is even worse when you never tried to do it."

As humans we all have dreams. It is natural even though some of us dream bigger than others but that does not mean they are superior or important than them.We were all created for different purposes and that's why we do not think all dream alike.Dreams are meant to come true, yes they are believe it or not including yours.Hold on, but it can come true only if there is a clear plan to be executed to make it come true. Dreams will remain dreams if there is no plan to make it come true, trust me.

Also success has go to do with making a difference. You need to make sure whatever it is you do has a great and significant impact on other people's lives.

Here, I would like to wake you up from you slumber and make known to you certain practices you can imitate or cultivate to increase your chances of succeeding in your existence. Now lets zoom in on a couple of them.

Habits To Make You Successful

  • Never Give Up. As humans we were not made to be perfect creatures . So a couple of times along the line one might make a mistake or even fail in doing something but my brethren I'm telling you for a fact that it is certainly not the end of the road for you. The Bible says" One will fall seven times and rise seven times." Anytime you fall, make it a point to force yourself up and continue on your journey to success. Do not let any failure get the better of because the more you hold the more it paralyzes you. Mistakes or failure are just destructions to pull you away from a pending success so do not pay any attention.
  • Add value to other people's lives and yours as well.To be successful, you do not have think solely about achieving success but you have to think about adding value to your life as well as other people's. The difference between who you are and who you want to be is really all about what you do. In recent times, I have been listening to TED talks and the messages they deliver have really had a good impact on my life by motivating me to go the extra mile to achieve my goal. TED talks I must say have been of great significance added good value to my life. Now, that's how it works. If your works impact greatly or positively on someone else's life you will be taken care of and you will make progress towards success. So my brethren, whatever it is you want to become should add value to other people's lives and you can change the world.
  • Explore and find new ideas. This is to help you discover new trends and make you now how best you can use your 'gift' to change the world and make it a better place as well as to make you become what you dream of becoming.Yes, we all have inborn gifts we were created with that we can develop to enable us make a difference in the world. I mean every single one of us!! Others spend their entire lives ignorant of this talent or gift and end up wasting their lives by doing absolutely nothing about it. We could become what we want to become if we explore more, research and find new ideas to develop our inborn gifts. There is a saying that,"If you want to be an acorn do not think like an acorn, think like an oak." A man in the U.S. once said," If you spend at least half an hour or an hour each day studying into your chosen field, you will become a national expert in five years or less." I hereby challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and explore to find new ideas to help you on your quest to achieve success.

  • Self discipline. It is definitely an indispensable tool on your journey to achieve success and change the world. To reach your goal, you have to be committed and dedicated to whatever you do no matter the situation. Set daily targets and make sure you achieve these set targets in your given 24 hours. All you have to do is focus on one thing, make it your priority and work tirelessly towards it to become what you dream of becoming. In simple terms, being discipline is something you cannot do without if you want to be a successful person.Let your 'YES' be yes and your 'NO' be no.

So we come to the end of this article and I assure you to come back with more. I also urge you to cultivate these habits in your daily life and see how wonderfully it will work for you.Thank you for making time to read this.
