Animal Worksheets Make Learning Fun

Children love animals. Some ideas for teaching using animals follow:

- Find several picture books and let the children pick out the animals.

- Let them count all of the dogs, then all of the horses, then the cows, and so on.

- Ask what color the dog is, the cat, and other animals. Teach about animals being more than one color.

- Reinforce this learning by using animal coloring pages and worksheets and let the kids count and color.
