   Is technology helping or hurting our harmonization with nature?
   
   On one hand, greenhouse gases, nuclear weapons, agricultural run-off, fuel leaks, and cellular phone radiation is damaging the environment. On the other hand, we can actually recognize these influences by observing the world with better tools. I'm sure the answer is both, but which quality is more powerful? Do we hurt our planet more than we understand it? Will we ever change our behavior because of what we know now (or soon)? Please justify your response.

   Daniel,
   Both is mostly the right answer. Thing is we have been doing so much damage over the years and not respecting any consequence for our actions until of late.
   
   There are still many who hold powerful positions who do not seem to care before the bottom line of revenue going into their bank accounts. We do need to stop and think before we continue making a mess of things.
   
   Until we stop worrying about how much profit can be made fast and start thinking out the long term results of any actions taken, we will continue to do damage. Bottom line is we need to walk softly and pay close attention.
