I have noticed that far too many young children are getting wrong ideas about sexual reproduction from social networks and their school friends. By the time the Biology teacher gets round to teaching these things they have already become experts on the "birds and the bees" and it is too late by then to "teach" them anything. Do you think that parents must intervene by making sure that their children are educated about sexual matters long before the topic is brought up in their schools or should the education system update itself and think about ways of teaching sex more effectively?
