From my experience, the answer is no. The doctors that I have seen and continue to see, say that all they can do is help manage the pains. I deal with the pains on a daily basis, that's all I can do. Manage the pain as best as I can. Medication is on a trial and error system; while the rest is up to me.
I have tried ionizing, acupuncture, meditation, diet control, and a variety of different exercises. Alone, none of these methods helped. Medication (to me) is not the answer, but it seems to help. When i miss taking them, I do notice a difference.
The one things that helps me every day; is knowing that there are things in this world that I can enjoy, regardless of the amount of pain I am in. I hope this helps you.
