I believe it should. Community colleges are generally cheaper to attend and can provide the same level of education as a four year school. For those high school students who want to get a leg up on their college career this is very important. We have a local community college that allows high school students to attend if they can maintain their grades and have permission from their school. Some of these students can complete their first year of college before they graduate from High School. Its a big plus! The local college is also affiliated with a four year school. This allows you to achieve a four year degree without leaving the area. This outreach has been a blessing to many folks.
