How to decorate a classroom for the teachers day ?

The teachers day is coming in another 4 days. My students asked me some suggestions to decorate their classroom. I could come up with some ideas , but all of them are the usual balloons ,Paper ribbons , etc .
Do you have something unique ?

    What about:
    fresh wild flowers
    popcorn on a string
homemade wind chimes and/or homemade mobiles
    sand-art pictures
    painted rocks
    painted, dried gourds
dry rice (dyed in different colors) & glue pictures
    homemade sun catchers

the possibilities are as endless as the imagination really smile  good luck

Now a days in every celebration  people thinking to decorate the venue area with balloons, color paper/plastic cuts in line, or with  costly flowers etc.
Why want all these thing. Any type of decoration is money waste and  after the day's use it create waste problems also.
As a teacher you can suggest to your student that this time we will decorate the class  room wall with 'great thinking or words' of father of nation, or words of great thinkers, scientists and also you can suggest art work of the student.
In teachers day, it is ideal to think to invite parents to visit your school along with their children. Why can't you think about  arrange for a parenting speech which is very very necessary in these days.
If it is a must, decorate with natural- eco-friendly items available, with flowers, leaf and such simple things.
