As always, there is the good and the bad, but I think the most positive thing is the availability of resources, like technology. Technology gives teachers a way to reach out and communicate with other educators, to take instruction online and to share their individual successes so that someone else might learn from them.
And I think the same is true for students. Technology is another venue for learning. Some students learn easily from a computer, benefit from all of the visual images and sound/speech that might accompany written information in a computer presentation . Kindles, Nooks, I-phones, all of these instruments of technology can make so much information available quickly. This can be very positve BUT, and here is the negative, it must be used wisely. Teacher - student relationships are still important and should remain an integral part of the the educational program. A wise teacher remembers that not all students learn in the same way and using technology is just one of those ways.
