A great many childhood memories. I was brought up in England in the 1930s and 1940s, very interesting years for a child for so much was happening. For example, I was three times moved away from my family due to World War Two and the German bombings of my home city, London. I was moved to three different areas away from this danger, yet was still in London for long periods - long enough to witness the Luftwaffe Blitz, the endless array of aircraft towing gliders for the D-Day invasion of Normandy, the V1 'doodle-bug' rockets.
I witness VE day (when Germany surrendered) and VJ day (when Japan through in the towel) I witnessed troops coming home form the war.
My childhood was so interesting the first 64 pages of my autobiography, 'Tom's Karma' took me only from when I was born until just prior to my 15th birthday.
Yes, I have many childhood memories I will never forget.
