That I'm following in my parents foot steps. No, I'm not going into medical records or banking or accounting. Believe it or not, I'm very different from my parents. We argue about our different views constantly but still have a very comfortable time around each other. I have my own enjoyments. There are definately similarities: museums, WW2, old cars, scrapbooking, going to dog shows, etc. But there are also so many differences. No, I don't like going to church like they do, I hate the jobs they have and would really do some damage if I had their positions, and I definately am happy I never dated the guys they wanted me to or I never would have found my husband. Some older children want to be kept apart from their siblings, but I'm perfectly fine with the relationships I have with them. But I wish people would stop assuming my parents still make decisions for me, and that I'm an exact replica of them.
