Are you aware of what you are thinking in every moment? Are they mostly negative or positive?

Some modern Philosophies contend that our quality of thoughts reflect our quality of life; agree or disagree? Can you connect the quality of your dominating thoughts to success or failure in your life?

Believe it or not, I am not aware of what or whether i am thinking most of the time as my mind goes completely blank during those moments.

But whenever I think, my thoughts has to be positive because I am aware of the power of positive thinking.

Being aware of the power of positive thinking is the beginning of awareness. It is then that you start asking yourself "What am I thinking now?" Normally, we are not really aware of what we are thinking most of the time It is a skill to learn.

I agree on the way we thin does affect our daily lives, in both positive and negative ways. If you think negative then your life would be going downhill. Off-course one is allowed to think negatively, but with more positive thoughts life can be much  better and the weaknesses can be overseen. I am positive person and I don't allow any negative energy to enter my life.

Thanks DDE for sharing. I agree that sometimes negative thoughts invade our minds especially when things around us don't go well according to our desires, but if we are aware that our thoughts are negative we can easily change them.

Aahh..great question...regardless of what is going on in my mind. I think positive..how do I accomplish this ? I look at the situation, ascertain and turn it around..such as " I'm positive the world is going to h*ll in a handbasket "..anything that happens in our life isn't necessarily a negative, it's merely how we perceive it.
AS the saying goes " when life hands you lemons, make lemonade" I on the other hand go to the next level and add Vodka..Quality of life is exactly that..how we perceive is what we get back..if we prioitize our lives and throw out the garbage, we can move on so much easier..Negative multiples so much faster and weighs us down..Positive on the other hand is slow and long lasting and lightens our load in life....I see life through " cracked rose coloured glasses always keep a sense of humor regardless and the " crap " is so much easier to deal with"...just my take on dealing with this issuse...

That's a good mental attitude kj force. We can always choose what to think and what to accept as our personal reality. Thanks for sharing.

Two very interesting examples of praticing awareness thinking that you might say is out of this world. No pun intended.

SANNI CETO is a a hybrid E.T. who incarnated in 1958 and recalls her past life as the commander of the spacecraft that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. Her remarkable story is told in her autobiography, Stranded On Earth, The Story of a Roswell Crash Survivor, published by Earth Star Publications in June 2004. She is an artist, doll maker, teacher and communicates with her Zeta Reticulan Council, and in contact with her father and guide, Khinyeo. She is a nature lover, ufologist, amateur entomologist and meteorologist, whose mission is to spread love and light to Planet Earth, and to correct the ideology behind her people's purpose for visiting Earth. Where most humans distrust the Grays, Sanni says it is the Reptoids that are disguising themselves as her people and abducting people. The Zetis are a race of peace lovers, scientists and space travelers who only wish to assist Earth in its ascension.

Yes its absolutely correct, our thoughts create our life and I always try to think positive but sometimes its difficult to think positive especially when I am worried about something.

I agree with you cjpooja26, worries steal our creative energy and prevents us from being productive in life. What I normally do when worries invade my mind is to write "This too will pass" or "Problems resolve themselves" a hundred times; it works.

Sometimes we are aware, sometimes we aren't. Depending on what our brains are doing.
I'm aware I'm answering a question and many other things but I'm focusing on the question and not what I did an hour ago.
It depends on the now and the negative and positive.
I'd rather just focus on the now. Right now I'm positive I'm answering this question.
If however I was depressed I'm positive I wouldn't be answering this because I'd be focusing on other things like being in the past.

    Did I confuse you?

No, you don't confuse me. What you said is your "observation" of what your mind is doing, e.g. "focusing" "remembering" "answering" "analyzing" these are some mental processes. Creativity is the best mental activity, it's productive and positive.
