Will Winter Storm Q make the persimmon's prediction accurate?
The spoons inside the persimmons predicted a winter with heavy snow. The knives predicted ice. We have not had much in the way of winter weather so far. Will Winter Storm Q change all of that and validate the prediction of the persimmon? I am excited to document this winter on my hub and show the validity of the persimmon as a winter weather predictor.
I think it's interesting that, from what I've been told, in California, the storm began with a 20% chance of rain--I find it interesting when people are cold in 50 degree weather. We in the Midwest are preparing for the possibility of snow and ice from Wednesday night through Friday morning. Most importantly, however, we are hoping for no possibility. I'm all for temperatures above freezing and lots of rain for the farmers. Last winter was very dry. This winter has been less dry. This could be winter's last yelp because the tulips are starting to bust through the ground.
I am in the Midwest as well and hunkering down for some ice and snow! Based on your forecast it sounds like you live nearby! We had thunder last week & as my Grandma used to say, "Thunder in February, frost in May!" There may be more winter ah

Do you believe in 2012?It seems as though Nostradamus's predictions are coming true. Dead birds falling from the sky, animals dead washing up on shore, terrible storms, earthquakes, droughts, floods..9/11 the list goes on. Do you believe in his prediction about the end of the world in 2012? Why or...
