   Yes, but I'm afraid it is too late now. The damage has been done by man. Man is doing a great job of destroying this planet out of greed.

      Yes man are destroying it. But better late then never. I know many damages is faced by so many countries. But still we can make preventive measures to stop this so that we can save other one.

   I guess we need to reduce carbon dioxide release and try to be more green friendly, we need to reduce cutting trees and stop killing animals with no measurements in order not to extinguish their kind.

   You can't completely stop a natural disaster from occurring. This is why it is a 'natural' disaster and not 'man-made'. A man-made disaster would be the collapse of a hydrological dam. A natural disaster is a tsunami or high intensity earthquake. We cannot stop the latter from occurring. It is all down to the processes of the Earth and what the planet is doing to recycle energy and re-calibrate itself. This is why the Earth goes through periodic phases of ice-ages (we are overdue for an ice-age now!).
   
   If you are talking about global warming, however, then this is a different story altogether. This has been exacerbated by the appearance of human beings. We have indeed been slowly destroying the ozone layer of our planet through our carelessness of natural resources. We can help to alleviate the problem by recycling, building better and more well-equipped cities, using greener transport such as bicycles and buses, buying hybrid or electric cars, using solar panels on building roofs, and generally being supportive of alternative energy sources such as geothermal energy and wind-farms.
