Basic thing and a starting point is that all variables are matrices. So, a scalar is 1x1 matrix. For example, you input a value of matrix c this way: c=[3 2; 7 8] – meaning c is a matrix
Then there are many arithmetic and other operators ... Variables can be saved on a disc; bacis words in a program - that can be executed in MATLAB are if, for, while,.. ; graphics is quuite good in my opinion- and can be understand from the MATLAB's help; there is also a powerful tool for watching values of variables during the simulation – simulink package.
