If adjusted accuraetly for inflation, what is the U.S.' true minimum wage?

I heard recently (sorry don't recall the source?) that if adjusted for cost of living and inflation, that comparing the original incarnation of the U.S.' minimum wage, that it currently should be around $22/hour. Anyone know of any facts on this? Or any other numbers?
