What can you say about the legalization of marijuana sale in Colorado, USA?

I am thinking this is good if it will be regulated properly, but then we know that there will be those people who will take advantage to it.

I do not understand why this is happening and I'm not for it. It's probably due to money profits. If you ask me people should be doing better things with their time and money.

What initially opened the door was when the medical community confirmed smoking pot helped cancer patients deal with side effect of chemo treatments. Unlike cigarettes which have no medicinal benefits but have been legal for years. Jailing cost $$

The future of this planet and of the ones we leave behind depends on us unshackling the chains that keep us from the wonderful plant. It is natures gift to you, and you have been instilled, fooled into opposing its existence.

Ultimately I don't believe it is a all that much of a big deal. Alcohol and cigarettes have been known to be far more worse for one's health. It's likely that legalization will free up some jail cells for serious criminals than those arrested for smoking pot. In the future pot stores will be like liquor stores.
Having said that I don't believe there will sudden spike in pot smokers. Those who don't like smoking aren't likely to start doing so just because it's legal. Not everyone chooses to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes even though they're legal.

When you think of legalized marijuana you think of people getting high and the other people suffering from medical problems that use it for their pain. Its time to think outside the box.

Do you honestly believe that the governments and corporations that run this country care at all if you get intoxicated? They welcome it with open arms. If it was really about telling people, "No, you cant smoke weed cause it makes you high". Then it would of been legal to smoke years ago.

People get puzzled and wonder.. "Why is it that the most addicting drug on planet earth is legal to kids over 18 but i cant smoke a harmless joint?" The answer is Hemp. You see the marijuana plant is much more than meets the eye, it goes back years and years in our history and it is a very useful plant.

Forget about the stigma of the plant or what you have been instilled to think in your brain as soon as you hear the word "marijuana". Its a plant, a gift from nature. Hemp is the key. Hemp produces products with 10 times quality, durability, and sustainability out beating everything similar on the market. So, what this means is loss in profits.... Hemp in fact halters and slows your ability to consume these less superior products which makes these corporations tons of money.

Our forefathers that founded this country used this plant. Hell, the constitution was drafted on HEMP PAPER! Hemp paper lasts hundreds of years and never turns yellow, it can be recycled 4 times more times than wood paper. Not only that but instead of deforesting our damn planet we could grow hemp/marijuana and cultivate it for paper. They have strains of the plant that contain no THC but it is still illegal to possess and you will be thrown in a cage for having it. The plant can grow easily in any climate with minimal work and water. It needs no pesticides

YOU HAVE TO throw out the ideas that were put into your head about this plant it goes much deeper than just hippies smoking joints. Hemp can be made into fuel, plastic, food, paper, clothing, rope, wax, building supplies etc. And all of it is far superior than anything on the market and will outlast it for years. Haltering your ability to constantly consume and hurting profits. Marijuana is a gift from the earth to you and has been kept from you under the guise that it is "bad".
