There are many children who come to school and bully or otherwise misbehave. They seem to have no idea how vastly our world is changing and, as a result, competition for careers is growing greater everyday. There must be something that can turn this awful trend around.

I totally agree with the things that you have said, and I am happy to see that you are not advocating that we just throw money at this issue. We need a lot more than money, even though it helps too.
I agree that all students need lessons worthy of their attention, and that demands qualified teachers. Money is useful, but NOTHING can replace EXCELLENT teachers who should be paid their worth.
LeslieAdrienne, it is a hard situation, but I do believe that if both educators and parents put their heads together and become dedicated to a solution, we can help or children who have no idea at this point what they are throwing away.
You are right, but my point is that the money for education should be to find excellent teachers also because they will give our children a better chance at an effective education and everyone can't succeed without one. Some do,but they seem rare.
