   What is your BIGGEST fear and why?
   
   Lately  I've been doing some serious pondering on this, My biggest fear is if my eighty two year old grandmother dies. She had a stroke about 4 yrs ago and since then she  seem to have gone wacko. She is very angry, always picking quarrels, insulting and mentally abusing people, she uses bad words says nasty things. So i'm  wondering if she dies now would she make it to heaven in that manner? I don't know!

   I suspect that most people old enough to be on this site (particularly those with families) are not likely to be willing to put into words their biggest/deepest fear(s) because "biggest fears" are (at least for a lot of people) something we put in the back of our heads somewhere - way, way, back; refuse to verbalize and hope never happens.

   I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. It certainly strains the heart when a loved one is going through such terrible things. As to your concern about heaven, what do you believe a person must do or be to enter heaven? Wouldn't your grandmother have to meet the same criteria?

      Hi Robert thanks for your answer and for your question. I believe that if we are Christians we are professing to be like Christ , so we ought to live a good and peaceful life, loving, forgiving etc in order for when God calls us home, we are READY.

   Hi LadyFiddler:
   I just read Lisa HW's response, and I agree with her for a totally different reason...here it is:  I saw a television show a couple years ago where a psychologist got his patients to relate their greatest fears to him.  He would then use their fears to murder them later. 
   
   For example a woman feared drowning so he took her to a pool to 'help' her overcome her 'fear' but then he drowned her.  Another man feared being buried alive, and he buried him alive!  It was just awful.
   
   I told my husband that I would never, ever put my fears on the computer...because there are so many whackos out there!  I don't even think I would share them in a group gathering.  Only my family and very close friends know my fears.
   
   So...in answer to your question, my greatest fear is that people will find out what I fear! 
   
   That being said, this is a good question...if one looks at it from the perspective that maybe one's hub friends could help calm another writer's fears.  Blessings, Sparklea

      Hmmmm he was psychotic no doubt well i don't think i would travel so many miles to do you harm Sparklea lol. Well i am sure there are minor fears like fears of snakes etc. Thanks though for your input ~~ blessings ♥

      Oh, I sure trust YOU, dear LadyFiddler   I really do.  By the way, I truly believe your grandmother will be in Heaven when God takes her. I am so sorry... I believe it is the illness ...she cannot help it.  She will be with God I am certain.

      Hi Sparklea i believe so in a sense God do not think like us he understands what we cannot see me at yout hubs soon. I just reached from work and hustling to get to church. Thank u love

   I believe your Grandma will go to Heaven because her problems have come from dementia.or some other disease. If she believes or did believe in God, you don't need to worry about it. That movie really sounds like a nightmare. If a movie gets scary, I will stop watching. My biggest fear is  other people worrying, probably. I hate to see people in emotional pain. I have no control over it, so I better get over it. I guess it is best to try not to worry and do relaxing activities like meditation, stretching and deep breathing and all those cool things. Reading a hub is relaxing. Good luck with your fear.

      Thank u so much brakel yes she believes in God maybe i need to try and understand her symptoms more. Myself and her husband lives with her but i am only 26yrs and sometimes my patience really runs out. Other relatives hardly comes by

   Fear, anxiety and anger are all emotions people can experience after a stroke. In some cases it gets better with time. Your gran's anger is probably due to the lack of control, she may no longer be able to do all the things she would like to do and must depend on others. Exercising can help to redirect and use up some of the frustrations.
   The important thing is to remember what she was like before the stroke, it did not simply affect her physically but also emotionally. I guess my biggest fear is not being able to do the things I now enjoy doing, because my body can no longer function due to illness.

   My biggest fear is that one of my children die before me. I pray every night Lord let all my children out live me, even if it's only by a second. I pray that their children will out live them.  I fear my children dying before me. I have had 14 pregnancies and lost 9 of them . All were between 4.5 months and 7.5 months except one. That one was 12 weeks. I have 5 biological and 1 adopted child and all are adults. #2  fear is will they all go to heaven.

      Hi penny my dear thanks so much for your answer i love it. Waw sorry to hear about all those children you lost. I believe any christian parent will wonder if all their kids will make it in to heaven

   I am deeply touched by how much you love your grandma and your concern that she may not go to heaven. God is good, and I'm sure He won't hold her illness against her.
   
   I share your fear. I fear that relatives and people I love will not go to heaven. Well, they say that prayer moves the hands of God, and so that is where I ask Jesus to intervene on their behalf.
