Generally I would say the answer is yes to all. Mind you most of us going into our 60s are still looking for happiness and those golden moments in life. Success is relative and therefore cannot be measured unless you are referring to monetary wealth. Even there it differs from city to city and country to country.
Many of us have not been involved in war whereas the previous generation was much more involved in that sort of thing.
After the two A bombs exploded over Japan we knew there would either not be a third world war or that such a war would devastate the whole planet. Hence there have been a lot of little wars. The result? Migration to the countries not affected has continued and doesn't look like stopping. The end result? The next generation will have fewer resources than my own generation.
