   In your own words what do you think Positive Psychology is ?
   
   You know when we hear the word positive we think only along positive lines which is a leading misconception..... But in your own word honestly state what you think is Positive Psychology?

   Hi Jo,
   
   I have no clue, but I know in psychology it seems they always want you to talk about all of your negative stuff that has messed you up in the head, so maybe in positive psychology, they want you to focus on what is positive in your life, and in doing so, it triggers the good whatever (hormones) to be released into your brain and you then fell happy.

      LOL hi Faith, well that is true in Psychology they really major on the negative aspect and beat you down and force you into positivity. Being positive comes from within  and both + and - works co in hand. I will answer in its entirety in awhile.... :

   Most of the experiences I have had regarding positive psychology has been assessments and then coaching. There is focus on achievement and growth, yet that focus is on strengths rather than on weakness. Instead of trying to build up a weakness the positive psychology builds on strengths, become familiar with the weakness, while seeking or discovering support for the weakness through another source or resource.
   
   Then positive psychology transforms or is assisted by applied psychology with methodologies for that purpose. There may be an emphasis on interaction(s) causing partnerships of some sort to be formed hopefully beneficial to two or more parties. (Social Psychology) The aim being all will grow.
