I've always wondered how some people can say 'God spoke to me and told me to share the message etc' and be taken at their word, and even worshipped in a way because they are often pastors etc but then someone else can say 'God spoke to me and told me to do such and such' and are labelled schizophrenic.
If one hears voices that are not ones own (as we all hear a voice in our head - our own), there is usually something a little more....unhealthy going on. Be it a slight psychosis, or full blown.
Now, I'm most definately not saying all religious people are unwell - I'm just commenting that it's a little odd that some in high positions can say 'God spoke to me' but those who aren't are labeled unwell.
I think that fanatics of any faith aren't likely to be well people mentally.
Your average Joe faithful? Nah, they're pretty healthy
