What makes the subjects of SIN,SATAN, & HELL fascinating to the point of obsession with
conservative, dogmatic, fanatical, fundamentalist, and traditional Christians?
I think they are very suggestible people with a pronounced fear of the unknown which they compensate through this dark fascination, almost as if "sugar coating" it with an idolization, so that fear doesn't feel that bad. In any case they certainly have an odd imagination. When combined with religious concepts of "sin", "hell", and Satan", there could be a bit of emotional masochism involved, that is tormenting themselves with those images because of the "sinfulness" they can't forgive themselves.
It just may be the case that there are religious fanatics.
But that does not mean there is no value in the subject, there is a value that will never be repeated again, but are people letting the opportunity get away from them by listening to satans propaganda.
Like a shopaholic, is a fanatic for buying, is it something wrong with shopping ?, no it is the persons behavior of how they view and act on the subject.
There is nothing wrong with eating, but if you abuse the privilege of nonstop , you can kill yourself.
The point people can be unbalanced in any issue
as well as being unconcerned about important issues.
, the point is our maintaining existence is the
same thing
We breath by a power house of energy granted to every human at birth, but keeping that power flowing through our lungs is not based on our own power to continually keep breath in our lungs.
Many humans lose their breath each day.
But the power house that supplied it can return it just as he gave it. Example of a person who returns a flame to a candle to burn again.
That powerhouse is from the heavenly realm
Our Father who created all things supplies us with with all the necessary things we need to live.
His adversary has caused a small delay , but the paradise will not be late, we are just in that small window of opportunity to receive the blessings
But satan is doing the job of fooling many that there is no hope.why is he working so hard ? Because it does exist and Jesus paid for us to get in.
Do not let him still your future ticket to continue using the power house of our heavenly Father , who grants entrance into a New world under a New King. JESUS.

For the very many years I was in Church attendance, the Kingdom of God was always equated with Heaven. It was a future event that only those who believed in Jesus would see either when they died or were raptured, whilst the remainder of humanity would go to hell. A Christian could be disqualified...

What makes some people to see their religious books as the ONLY authoritative point of reference inwhich to refer to, judge, & analyze the world, instead of taking a more logical, educated, & scientific approach in analyzing the world events & conditions?

According to received Church wisdom, all of humanity deserves to be sent to hell? Why? What have we as individuals done that's so wrong that eternity of torture or annihilation is the reward?I'm sure the average Hubber here has never murdered a child, sold crack to street kids, committed genocide,...

If you don't believe in Satan, does that mean you won't go to hell?In many other questions and answers, I've read that if you don't have faith in God, you can't go to heaven.

Have You Ever Wondered This About Christianity? So in one of our weekly religious debates one of my friends brought up the idea that Satan may actually be the good guy. His logic is that Satan punishes sinners and therefore creates a situation where doing bad things is discouraged and doing good...
