Why do clouds go behind the sun and the moon?

Something's not right! If the sun and moon are as far away as NASA says, then how come clouds that are associated with Earth are seen behind the sun and moon?... And No, it's not an illusion. How can our clouds get behind the sun that is supposedly 92.96 miles away!~?

They're not behind the sun or moon. The sun/moon is so bright that is pierces through that section of cloud, making it appear as though it's resting in front of clouds.

The sun is about 93 MILLION miles away, not 93 miles.

Clouds don't go behind the sun. It is an optical illusion caused by the intense brightness of the sun.

I sometimes see photos of clouds behind the moon, but that's usually just poor Photoshop technique from someone who doesn't understand what and where clouds are who combines two photos for dramatic effect.
