No, but my grandchildren were home schooled. They are well adjusted young adults today. Both are in college and are working full-time, so it is taking them longer to graduate. My granddaughter is married with an infant and is working and attending college. My grandson just got his associates degree and is going to enlist in the Navy if he can pass the physical. His eyesight may keep him out. If a parent can stay home with the child and is dedicated to teaching the child and if that parent is willing to follow the rules set by the state, including allowing the child to take outside classes that he or she is not qualified or not equipped to teach, then I say "go for it". My grandkids had to go outside for physical education classes because, of course, their home wasn't equipped for it.
