So, George Washington University says History Majors don't have to take history any more. They can take whatever their little heart desires. Do you now realize or believe the left has won it's war on making our students complete morons? I think I understand why they vote for hillary killary and obamama - they've had their intelligence sucked out of them by the left and the government. What kind of idiot would be able to major in history without taking a history course? I think insanity is here to stay in the U.S. schools. Lord help us!!!

Don't think so. History is not something that the right wingers diss.
Proves their points over and over.
But, hey, if a history major can get a degree without studying history, America's on the right track, that's for sure.
By any chance have you checked the actual statement from the school? Or did you rely on the convervative news sites like the blaze?
How about this, prove me wrong with a quote from the school stating hat all history majors need to take history.
Just like hillary killary never produced anything that disproved the Wikileaks that showed she was corrupt.
Prove me wrong.
In other words you didnt go to the schools site?
Do you need help with how to do google search?
I read the info, have you?
Or if you need help, just let me know and I'll explain how to use google search.
Don't get cocky, Old Guard, I smell BS or a lack of understanding about this story...right now, all I see are unreliable news sites reporting it (or embellishing or exaggerating it). BTW, how much do you understand about history programs at colleges?
So what is your point, other than, I don't know what your comments are here.
My point brad is this: the information I'm getting is not complete. Someone here has made a hasty judgement because he read a few rants on the Internet that didn't give the full picture. In this day and age you can't treat information like that.
In truth, the survey courses are usually regurgitation of historical facts and are not as important in most college history programs. It's courses such as historical thinking or writing (like at CSUF), in which one learn research techniques.
What about my last paragraph?
Regurgitation like knowing the Constitution?
Regurgitation like knowing that the U.S. is a Republic and not a Democracy?
This is high school stuff, yet most college kids have no concept of the constitution nor how the U.S. functions as a country.
So true, and they are relying on what the left and the MSM says about the constitution. It is also sad when SC Justice Ginsburg dn believe in the constitution, so she tries to conform it to her personal views, which is my personal view of her.
You learn about the constitution in a political science class. That's the same for college and high school. Also republic falls under the broad umbrella of the term of democracy.also there's a lot of 49 and 50 something who have no clue about us laws
What was the question, I don't understand your comment? If History majors don't take history, what then is their major?
I'm addressing old guard's comment
It was not clear because your comment followed directly after mine, and you didn't address your comment.
Considering that creating a false history&substituting it for true history is precisely what liberals have been doing since the 1960s I am surprised GW took this path.Guess they know they've been outed so why not drop history altogether.
Brad, you seem to have hard time accepting" answers" from anyone . Seems like your M.O. What's going on?
