to believe that the world will end on 2012, you'd have to believe that it should have ended on 2000. Obviously, not the case. The reason many people believe this it because the mayans calender ends on 2012. Now, it is true that they have predicated many world wide events, however...why is it so hard to believe that they simply ended their calender because they had to, not because thats where the world will ,too, end?
And to believe this, you'd have to question your own religion. I know most people assume Christianity because, majority rules, but if you believe all the great stories writen in the bible, don't you think that he would have said something about the tribe who could predict such an occurrence?
Honestly, it doesn't matter what you believe. You can do 1 of 2 things, you can dwell that the world will end and spend your last moments paranoid and depressed. Or you can live your life knowing that...you'll never know. And they is no point in worring about something you can't change. Trying to prepare for the end of the world, is like preparing for your own death. If you live life in fear, you're not really living life at all.
