What is the opposite of science?

Magic and Miracles...the unexplained, the impossible. Those things we cannot explain?

Faith -- thinking something is so just because it feels good, comforts you, fits what you think "ought" to be, etc. -- is the opposite of science.

Science is a never ending desire to understand ourselves and everything around us.If you do some research you might be suprised to know that the goverment itself invested millions of dollars on a research project about using ESP to help us find and fight off enemies. You'll also find that most scientists do believe in the supernatural and a greater being. The things we can't explain right now are just the seeds that are being planted and cultivated so that some day we can see the truth. You know what would help me figure out if all these unexplained phenomina were real? Well, I'll tell ya. If I knew that no one was full of bull!@#$%^^!!! and just trying to sell a book or get on TV or whatever their deviant cause was! How many of us can honestly say we experienced something truly phenominal that was wintnessed by others and was in no way a distortaion caused by our own needs for a specific outcome. The mind can make reality whatever it needs to be to keep itself satiated. I wish I could believe in good things like most do but I just can't have blind faith. If our creator wanted us to be blind followers then why did he give us such incredible curiosity? So, Science is not the enemy of the unexplained it is it's number one fan.Without something to question scientists would have nothing to do. Science just hasn't figured out a way to measure some things yet.I know one thing I wish they'd figure out is how to tell a decietful, lying, selfish person from a genuine person BEFORE we believe them instead of after we have been made fools of!

Global warming is not a myth. Just like evolution there are facts to support it.

The opposites of science are in my opinion apathy and lack of curiosity--and unwillingness to explore the world around us. Religious belief isn't the opposite of science, for it is merely a quality of disbelieving evidence, and science is centered on discovery rather than belief in evidence.

The opposite of science is anything artificial and man made.

Religion is the opposite of science. In my opinion science and religion are two face of a same coin.
