Ones taking, the other, for Granted ... does not mean, that the other is also taking, the taker, for Granted ...
Taking for Granted, is thus, an arbitrary understanding ... restricted to ones own ideas, and thinking.

It means that you assume they'll always be there, doing what they do, regardless of your own behavior.
It means to sell someone short of what they can or can not do.
Some people take God for granted.
Also, it's not always assuming it'll always be there. You could not even be thinking about. It's just something that you don't really appreciate.
