Are You Sad and Don't Want to Be?

Updated on May 4, 2010

So Sad

Don't be sad
Don't be sad

Why be sad?

Sometimes in life it is inevitable, we will be sad.  We may feel like all hope is lost or there is nothing that can happen to make this feeling go away.  It is true that those feelings can crop up out of the blue and bite you right square on the hind quarters.  It may even take a healthy chunk out of you.  There may also be times when you feel like no matter what you do it is not right or won't matter.  I am here to tell you that you will be ok.

I have had my fair share of heartaches.  One never seems to go away and I am constantly battling with myself for control over my sadness.  Yes, I am sad and I don't want to be.

Whatever the case, whatever the cause just know that we are all in this together. What do you do to feel happy again?  Where do you go? What do you think of?

Some people listen to relaxing music, or they'll read a book or perhaps meditate.  Some go within their own minds to realms of epic porportions to enjoy a vacation.  Some go to the beach or out into nature, to listen to the sound of the wind through the trees or the babbling of the brook.  Some think of the good things they've done in their life and reflect on how it made them feel.  While still others think about where they want to go and make plans accordingly.

These are all great tools to use and I use most of them each time I feel down and out.  My most favorite thing to do when I am feeling sad and don't want to is watch something like the following video.

Watch This Video if You're Sad

Now that you have watched this video I hope you are now happy and still laughing.  I know I was and I forgot all about what I was sad about.  Thank you for reading.

When I am sad I bust out a CHEECH and CHONG video and laugh....laughter is the best therapy other than writing for me. It releases endorphins in the brain and makes you happy! GOOD HUB

I like to think these moments are fleeting. Excellent practice to get proactive and resolve the problem rather than dwell. Finding happiness is a journey in itself too. Great tips and great video, lol. :)
