Best Online Schools

Updated on March 24, 2013

Almost all college and university located in America have an option to do courses online. Many people are opting for online schooling option because it is easier and cheaper to get the same degree as you would if you were to study full time at a physical school. Online school is great if you are working full time and need to upgrade your education, a parent that want to study but still want to spend time with their kids. Doing courses online is also is flexible to fit your schedule and allows you to complete your assignment when it is convenient for you, there is no need for travelling to school to attend classes, and is often more affordable due to not having to use classroom space and not as many employees to maintain a course.

Some things to consider: The best online schools will depend on what kind of education you are looking for as well, even though you can get any type of degree online not all will be regnized by associations. For example, if you are getting a law degree in the USA the American Bar Assosication does not reconqize any online law degrees which means that you will not be allowed to sit for the bar exam except in California. So before you decide to take a online program to obtain a degree it is best to make sure that the degree you are looking for is not governed by a assosication and if it is make sure that it will be accepted.

Also some schools will still require you to go into the school physically to take exams or do presentations. So if you do online schooling, make sure that it is still within reasonable distance that you can still get to or make sure you will not have to go to the physical school for any reason. If you are looking to do your full degree online keep in mind that a lot of employers still prefer a four year schooled degree versus a online degree.

As mentioned above the best school for an online degree will depend on what degree you are planning to get. Over all the using criteria such as student satisfaction, addordability, school reputation, school accreditations, instruction quality schools online that are rated the best are (all schools listed offer undergraduate degrees):
