Alex in real life

Updated on February 7, 2010

For the first time in fifty years I am unemployed. OK boo hoo.Even as a child I had a job. I was a licenced Plumber and Heating and Cooling man for 26 years. I had an accident and for the last thirteen years I have been in the auto sales and mostly finance department. Things changed last Jan. when the auto industry asked for a loanbig time from the government. Needless to say my job crashed May 17. Since losing my house and everything else I have moved in (with my wife of 39 years and our dog Wacker)into my middle son and his wife's home. Humility has become an everyday option for me. I have a lot of knowledge in the trades, Plumbing, HVACand electrical. I know how to handle finance departments and I have allot of life experience. These things mean nothing. At some point you have to accept that the good old days are gone and you have to move on. The alternative is to take your own life. No one really gives a dam and that would serve no purpose. I now cook better than I ever have and do light cleaning in exchange for the bedroom and new life. feel free to contact me by email and ask me anything. I can talk you through almost any repair or I can talk or listen to you about life.

Alex good to here about what is going on in your life. Its not much better here the picture keeps growing weaker. Just no one buying . Hope to see you soon I wish you the best. remember no matter how bad we think things are someone always has it worst it seems. Sad but good hub. Sometimes just taking things moment by moment require real courage. You are among the heroes around us. maybe another career for you is writing.
