      Some really great ideas here for inexpensive, yet practical dorm decor. Really like the bulletin board lampshade idea. I lived (many, many moons ago) in a dorm for two years and wouldn't have missed the experience for anything. You've brought back some great memories just by mentioning DORM. :)

      I like the bed riser idea - a bed covers a lot of area. Getting all the stuff out of the way is critical. Of course, you can do like I did and just cover it with a big, peaceful piece of fabric. Gets rid of a lot of the clutter look! Blessed!

      You have done it again and have provide doable DIYs that anyone can do to cover those dorm room challenges, I especially like your cork board lamp shade, now that's using every inch available in cramped corders and your bucket stools will provide a nice storage are for those odd items that would otherwise be clutter.
