Can some one reccommend other good search engines for scientific topics other than Google
For some reason I always thought AltaVista.com was a more science and academic-focused search engine, though their site nowadays doesn't advertise that.
They do have the helpful Babelfish translator right there on the search page though, which might help if you're looking up scientific information in other languages.
