Have you stopped beating your wife? In other words the assumption, that people with children feel superior to childless couples, is ridiculous and happens only in a very small minority.
I think one stereotype is that childfree people are selfish, however, I think this perception is shifting to people with many children. It used to be thought that childfree couples were not contributing to society by helping to raise the next generation.
I have two kids, and I love'em both to death, but Lord knows occasionally there *are* days when I miss those "childfree" times. Haha.
